Bowling, Billiards, & Fun in Chicago

Let’s go bowling.  The hostel is within walking distance from both Seven Ten Lounge & Southport Lanes.  Both alleys use an old school approach to the sport, with Southport Lanes actually utilizing manual pin setters, be prepared to keep score yourself with a #2 pencil.  In addition, both bowling lounges have good drink menues & exceptional bar food.

Let’s shoot some pool.  We recommend Jake’s Pub, a friendly neighborhood lounge where beer is good & pool is free on Tuesdays.  You can also check out this list of some very cool bars that offer free pool.  We also offer pool for only a $1 as well as free foosball in our hostel’s cafeteria.

 Whirlyball??  Agility. Speed. Strength. None of these qualities will be of any use in the highly-competitive world of WhirlyBall. Although it combines lacrosse, hockey and basketball with bumper cars, WhirlyBall has caused great athletes of every stripe to laugh and holler their way to a crushing defeat.
