Rent a hostel bike and take a ride to the Tour De Fat, a free festival that celebrates cycling, the environment, music, free stuff, food & drinks. However, you don’t need a bicycle to enjoy this fest, Chicago’s very own Mucca Pazza brings their unique sound to the festival….FOR FREE.

Be a smart traveller & take advantage of FREE MUSEUM DAYS. For instance, The Museum of Contemporary Art is free every Tuesday, & The Art Institute of Chicago is FREE every first & second Wednesday in July.
Don’t forget Downtown Sound: Free Music Mondays at 6:30pm in Millennium Park. July’s lineup is a good one with performances by Ted Leo & Blonde Redhead. Bring a blanket, a bottle of wine, and some snacks.
