Check out Taste of Randolph St.…why because? Well, this fest focuses on the culinary creations of some of Chicago’s great restaurants surrounding the area. Good music, good food, and a good neighborhood…June 17th is the kickoff date…900 W. Randolph St.
It wouldn’t be a Chicago summer without Chicago’s Pride Festival. This notorious and massive event kicks off June 24th (with the infamous parade being on the 25th). This celebration consists of live music on two stages, a myriad of food vendors, a pet parade, as well as some memorable drag shows. The fest is within walking distance from our hostel, so pack some colorful clothes and don’t miss this iconic event.
Beginning June 24th, the enormous Taste of Chicago is right around the corner, and what does this mean? Food, FOOD, & more FOOD. This giant event blends more than 50 chicago restaurants’ signature dishes w/ a ton of live music. Admission is free, but food tickets are sold in strips of 12 for $8. Generally, a full meal is around 9 tickets. This event goes from June 24th-July 3rd in spacious Grant Park.
