Chicago Pride Parade 2010

The 41st annual Pride Parade hits the streets on Sunday June 27th, 2010. This colorful celebration seems to evolve into a bigger, better, and more vivid ceremony each year. Join the jubilant jamboree this June, and stay close to the big party at our hostel.

Here is a bit of information on the festivities:

*Parade kicks off at 12 noon.

*Line up at the corner of Halsted (800 West) and Belmont Ave. (3200 North).

Parade travels from Halsted/Belmont, proceeding north on Halsted (to Broadway); then south on Broadway (to Diversey); then east on Diversey (to Cannon Drive) in beautiful Lincoln Park.

Now, here’s some tips: bring some water/ adult beverages (cause drinking is allowed), sunscreen is also essential for hanging out in June, get there early as the streets do fill up, and wear some colorful clothes!
