RED TWIST THEATRE.
Advertised as “white hot drama, in a tiny little black box with a red twist.” A small 40 seat theater nestled in the neighborhood of Edgewater, the Red Twist Theater Company knows how to entertain. Take the Howard red line to Bryn Mawr & don’t miss out. 1044 W. Bryn Mawr.
RED ORCHID THEATRE
Both critically acclaimed & widely popular, Red Orchid Theater holds wonderful productions in Old Town, Chicago. They have plays being produced off-Broadway, so that says a lot about their skills & growing reputation. Check them out at 1531 N. Wells.
The theater giants of Chicago include the famous Steppenwolf Theatre. Founded in a basement of a church in 1974 by now famous actor Gary Sinise, this place is now a collassal monument in Chicago Theater. Although the prices are a bit steeper than the aforementioned venues, the acting, sets, & ambience make up for the price. If you are even just a minor theatre-enthusiast, check this place out during your trip.

Fans of Shakespeare should be enthused that the Shakespeare Theatre Company puts on amazing shows at their theater at Navy Pier. Check out their current and incoming plays here and experience a beautiful theater on Chicago’s infamous pier.
