Chicago’s Lakefront Path

Behold the majestic lakefront path, an 18 mile stretch of parks, beaches, attractions, skyskrapers, and joggers & cyclists, just down the street from our hostel.  Whether you use it for biking, hiking, photographing, or a morning run, this aesthetic stretch will dazzle and not disappoint.

Take full advantage of Chicago’s outdoors and rent a bike from us.  A full day is only $30, or a half day (3 hrs) is $20.  All bike rentals come with a u-lock, and we’ll be happy to go over sites & cycling options before you depart on your two-wheeled excursion.

There are over 20 beaches along the lakefront path, conveniently, our hostel is located near the best ones.  Take a trip to North Ave. Beach and see what all the fuss is about, this massive beach has volleyball, fun swimming, the hot food & drink spot Castaways.  Or opt for a more secluded experience at beautiful Hollywood beach located just north of Foster Ave. off the path.

Take a trip via bicycle to Navy Pier & check out their weekly firework displays.  This picturesque attraction is a perfect ride south on the bike trail.  The view of the Chicago skyline is unbelievable.
