Delightful Dive Bars Near Our Hostel

If clubbing the night away or screaming loudly in sport’s bars just ain’t your thing, check out some local dive bars that just might have you addicted to a dimly-lit setting & sipping cheap booze with the regulars….

Oh Rose’s, thank you for existing so close to our hostel.  You are a remaining relic in an increasingly modern neighborhood.  We love your old sofas, cheap drinks, and pool table.  In fact, we even love the way you smell at night.  Check this place out.

Christina’s Place isn’t too close to our hostel, but it’s still worth the trip.  They serve trademark pints of Guinness for $2.oo.  They also have cheap pool and an environment that’s sometimes frequented by a motorcycle gang.  Check it out.

First off, this isn’t a dive bar.  Goldie’s is one of those comfortable neighborhood spots where you can listen to good music, play darts & pool, and drink $1.00 PBRs.  Yes, its cheap drink menu isn’t the only perk.  This place is Getaway Hostel staff-picked, and please don’t tell too many people about it.

Welcome to hipster central.  Rainbo Club is a laid-back joint where all the cool kids go.  The drink prices are good and they have cozy booths circling the outer walls.  Check this place out, and wear your skinny jeans.
