Fast and Easy Ramen Noodle Recipes

Traveling on a budget?  Tired of takeout?  A few years ago we did a ramen noodle recipes post.  Now, we’re back with some new entrees to curb your appetite in a delicious and affordable manner.  Feel free to use our guest kitchen to create any of these dishes…  Bring on the noodles!

Spicy Ramen Explosion!


-Maruchan Ramen

-chopped green onion

-chopped cilantro

-pinch of garlic powder

-pinch of red pepper

-lime (optional)

*Prepare ramen and strain, leaving just enough moisture so that chili packet, garlic powder and red pepper will dissolve (a couple tablespoons approximately). Place half of the dry mixture at the bottom of serving bowl before ramen noodles are completed. Throw in ramen noodles, and other half of dry mixture on top and mix. Garnish with green onion and cilantro and sprinkle fresh lime juice to taste (not too much, lime can overwhelm).

Pad Thai Ramen

Pad Thai Ramen Noodle Recipes

Pad Thai Ramen


- 2 packs of ramen (chicken or beef)

- 1 16oz package of firm tofu (you can also use chopped chicken)

- 1 bag of frozen stir fry vegetables

- soy sauce

- peanut sauce

- sesame oil

Drain tofu and slice or cube into bite sized-ish pieces. Place in bowl, add 1 ramen flavoring packet, soy sauce, and a good shake of sesame oil to marinate. Let tofu marinate for 1 to 2 hours.  If you choose to use chicken or beef, make sure it is cooked and chopped separately.  Cook ramen noodles, throwing the 2nd seasoning packet into the cupboard for later use. Meanwhile, toss the veggies into a pan and stir-fry away until cooked. Add tofu with enough of the remaining liquid to keep it from sticking, continue to heat, stirring gently, until tofu is heated. Add ramen noodles, mix them in well, allow them to absorb most of the remaining liquid in the pan. Toss it onto a couple plates (will feed 2-4 people, depending on appetite), season to taste with more sesame oil, top with peanut sauce. Enjoy!

Parmesan Ramen

- 1 pack of any flavor ramen

- 1/4th a cup of Parmesan cheese

- 2 cups of water

- sliced mushrooms (optional)

Cook noodles according to package.  Drain thoroughly.  Sprinkle and stir in the Parmesan cheese.  We recommend adding sauteed sliced mushrooms which blend really well with the added cheese.

Beef and Broccoli Ramen

Beef and Broccoli Ramen Noodle Recipes

Beef & Broccoli Ramen


- 1 pack of beef flavored ramen

- 2 cups of water

- 1 tablespoon of oil

- 3/4 pound of beef sirloin cubed

- 1 cup of onion chopped

- 2 cups of broccoli chopped

- 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder

- 1 can of cream of broccoli soup

- 1/4 cup of water

- 1 tablespoon of soy sauce

Cook noodles according to package directions and drain. Add seasoning packet. Brown beef in oil with garlic powder. Add onion and broccoli. Cook over medium heat until tender. Add soup concentrate, 1/4 cup water and soy sauce. Simmer ten minutes. Serve over noodles.

Chili Ramen

Chili Ramen


- 1 pack of Beef Ramen

- 1 can of no bean chili

- shredded cheddar cheese

- 1 cup of Doritos Nacho Cheese

- 1/4th cup of chopped onion (optional)

Cook noodles as indicated on the package, and then drain thoroughly.  Add can of no bean chili and simmer for a couple minutes.  Top with Doritos and onions and cheese.
