Chicago Blues Festival
Grant Park hosts the FREE 29th Annual Chicago Blues Festival. The festival kicks off Friday June 8th at 11am and runs until June 10th, expect food & beverage vendors as well as a vast array of excellent blues musicians.

Free Music Mondays
Free Music Mondays is back. The infamous downtown sound project kicks off May 28th at 6:30pm. Bring a blanket, a bottle of wine, and maybe some snacks to this FREE EVENT every Monday evening until August 26th in spacious Millenium Park.
Crosstown Classic 2011
Chicago Cubs vs. Chicago White Sox don’t miss the rivalry & action of the infamous Crosstown Classic. Tickets start around $35.oo & the games @ U.S. Cellular Field are June 20th, 21st, & 22nd. The games at Wrigley Field are on July 1st, 2nd, & 3rd. You may find cheaper tickets on Stub Hub or buying them from Ticketmaster. Either way, don’t miss the heated rivalry!
Summer Festivals in Chicago
Wow. It’s already July, but the good news is that we still have a ton of cool events for you. From food to live bands and airplanes, check these out:
Mmmfood, let’s celebrate summer by eating and drinking outside. Luckily, we have The Windy City Ribfest as well as the new Roscoe Village Burger Fest to check out. These events are free to attend, include live music, and some great barbecue. The Ribfest is going on from the 16th-18th of July, but the Burger Fest is from the 10th-11th.
