The Chicago Lakefront
As we are within walking distance to the lake, this summer is the season where you need to be LAKESIDE, whether at a beach, on the bike/running path….or how about dining……..?
Check out The Dock at Montrose Beach & their menu that boasts beachside compliments like kobe burgers, fish tacos, & tuna ceviche. Better yet, The Dock is newly revamped and now features a liquor license with about 20 different beers to choose from. This lakeside eatery is located north of Lincoln Park at Montrose & the lakefront.
And there’s always Castaways at North Ave Beach. Better perceived as a bar on the beach, their food isn’t as appealing as The Dock, but you can’t go wrong with a cocktail in the middle of Chicago’s most popular beach. Also, this place is an easy stroll from our front door…take Fullerton to the lakefront and hang a right by the bike path.
Beachfront dining aside, don’t forget to experience Chicago’s lakeside playground. Whether you’re in the mood for walking, running, swimming, or biking…this sprawling 18 miles of beaches, paths, and trails is sure to become a memorable part of your trip to our city, and don’t forget our new bicycles for rent!
